Do we want unqualified teachers?

Did you know:

'Free Schools' do not have to employ qualified teachers.  Under the Academies Act they are not required to do so by law.
As we understand it they are not required to employ a qualified head teacher either.

Did you know:

The money set aside by government to fund the capital expenditure of setting up a free school has been taken from funds that were originally destined for existing schools.

Did you know: 

'Free Schools' are not required to follow the national curriculum.

Did you know: 

'Free Schools' are able to decide their own admissions policy.

Did you know:

'Free Schools' will undoubtedly damage other existing local secondary schools as they will be competing directly with them for funding.  Funding is decided on a per-pupil basis.
